Hi Pack 20 Families: The weather forecast for Sunday afternoon predicts thunderstorms. We are canceling Sunday’s pack meeting for safety reasons. Kelly Wells will work with the airport manager to reschedule the airport visit this summer.

The Pack is planning a visit to the Pickens County Airport. Kelly Wells will facilitate the meeting. Kelly knows the Airport Administrator and Airport Manager.
– Watch for rescheduled date & time.
– Address for meeting: 193 Pickens Airport Rd, Jasper, GA 30143
– There is a parking area – just make sure everyone goes around the horseshoe
– Meet in the new airport admin building
– There are restrooms in the admin building
– We will have the event, rain or shine. The meeting will be mainly in the hangar.
– Bring a bottle of water
– The airport has made arrangements with local pilots for the scouts to see some planes
