Waterpalooza – Atlanta Area Council Event @ Bert Adam Scout Camp

Waterpalooza is a one-day, Cub Scout-focused water event using the Bert Adams pool and waterfront. Scouts will complete Elective Adventures built around aquatic skills, reinforce water safety and swim competency, and enjoy high-energy family programming — all before heading back to school. Bring a friend!

Parent/Guardian Supervion at Pool/Water Front Required

Parents or guardians must accompany any Cub Scout who is actively learning to swim while at the pool. They are responsible for ensuring their Scout properly checks in using the buddy system and adheres to all Safe Swim Defense guidelines. If necessary, parents may be required to enter the water to assist with instruction, particularly for Scouts who are uncomfortable or require additional support.

Parents or guardians of Bear, Webelos, and Arrow of Light (AOL) Scouts should accompany their Scout to the waterfront. Their presence is required to ensure compliance with buddy tagging procedures and adherence to Safety Afloat guidelines.

Please note that when multiple siblings are participating, each child must be accompanied by their own parent, guardian, or designated leader.
