Cub Scout Pack 20 is having its January Pack Meeting, Pinewood Derby Race, at Big Canoe Chapel on Saturday January 17th, starting 9:00 a.m.
Scouts build small cars starting from a simple pine blocks, 4 wheels, and 4 nails for axels. They race them to see who can build the fastest car. Plus, they can win trophies for their design:
– Best scout theme
– Most patriotic (especially it’s the 250th anniversary of the USA)
– Best Cartoon or Fantasy Theme
– Most Realistic Looking Car or Truck
– Best Wood Carving
– People’s choice (votes from people at the race on Saturday)
