Hi Pack 20 Families:
Spooky-ree is a fantastic fall weekend camping adventure for the whole family, sponsored by Atlanta Area Council, at Bert Adams Scout Camp. Pack 20 invites families to attend Weekend 1, October 9-11.
The Bird family attended in 2025 and thought it was a great event. Allison Bird explained, “We had so much fun last year at Spooky-ree that Finn begged to go again this year. It is just for Cub Scouts and their families (siblings too). The whole campground is set up with activities like fishing, rock wall climbing, arts and crafts, games, inflatables, and a haunted trail that is not scary but fun! You can also earn archery and BB Adventure Loops/Pins that you can’t earn anywhere else but with a certified Rangemaster at a Scout event like this.
But Finn’s favorite group activity besides archery and BBs, was the big bonfire Monster Mash party at the end of the last night. It was a lot of fun for all 3 of us.
We are planning to go during Week 1 which is October 9-11. Finn hopes some of his friends will be able to go with him this year!”
